23 Νοε 2007 · Its hard getting and used heads that can make serious power for less then 1k. That and ls1 heads on a ford is uncommon. Usually a ls1 with cam/intake/exhaust makes between 400-450rwhp on an auto trans. If you step up to an aggressive cam with a great port job,then the figures shift up a little more.

6 Ιαν 2003 · Yes, it is possible to fit LS1 heads on a small block Ford. Literally ANYTHING is possible if you have enough money! Hell, I can fit Ferrari heads on there if you pay me enough!

15 Μαρ 2012 · He built a 'motor plate' from Diesel engine tech that had two head-bolt patterns. The thing was 1" thick and was bored & honed with the block- became a bore extension. Besides the head adapt, the pistons were the only problem: they had Cleveland valve reliefs on top of Chev cutouts and looked weird but worked.
16 Αυγ 2004 · What I want to know is how the bore spacing comes out. That and the head bolt pattern. Seems to me that stuff precludes head swapping between brands.
