Patients are an integral part of our educational program at Texas A&M School of Dentistry. By treating patients in our general dental clinic and four specialty clinics, our students receive important hands-on training that equips them to be outstanding dentists.
How can I become a patient of the dental school? You will need a screening appointment to determine if your oral health needs match the educational needs of our students. Call 214.828.8981 to schedule a screening appointment for the following week until all appointment slots are filled.
The Texas A&M University School of Dentistry, located in Dallas, Texas, is the dental school of Texas A&M University and is a component of Texas A&M Health. It has had several name changes since its founding in 1905, as the State Dental College.
It not only ensures that Texas has qualified generations of dentists, dental hygienists, and scientists, but also provides care for patients who have no other access to oral health care. This program prepares students for the opportunity to pursue an occupational license.
The School of Dentistry offers 10 dental specialties and is the largest oral health care provider in North Texas. Through education, research and community service, the school is dedicated to graduating exemplary oral health professionals who are passionate about improving people's lives.
Faculty also direct dental clinics at two local children`s hospitals and provide oral health care services to the Parkland Health & Hospital System, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dallas, Baylor University Medical Center, and Denton State School.
