The Massachusetts Firefighting Academy provides fire training to municipal fire service personnel. The training is free for cities and towns.
Interested students are encouraged to complete "Initial Fire Investigation for First Responders" (Q0379), available through NFA Online at. course. Audience: Fire and emergency services personnel who respond to fires or might conduct preliminary investigations into the origin and cause of fires.

Recruit Firefighter Academies and Driver/ Operator classes will be scheduled and conducted by the Training Division. The intent is to hold these labor and resource-rich training programs during a consistent time frame on an annual basis.
