The first couple of times I just tried to open the video in the same tab, the download button didn't show up. This was using the same video for both attempts. If I reload the page, then it will select the correct video instead of downloading the previous video.
Full screen video is not actually full screen. It has a black box around it. Look at how big of a bezel it looks (Firefox on the right) compared to Chrome (on the left)
