Take email accounts offline. Go to the Mail app on your Mac. Do one of the following: Take all accounts offline: Choose Mailbox > Take All Accounts Offline. Take a specific account offline (if you have more than one account): Choose Mailbox > Online Status > Take [account] Offline.
15 Ιουν 2019 · Anyway, I deleted the account in Mail on my MacBook, then went to Gmail via a web browser and set the necessary POP settings, then went back to my MacBook and created a new email (POP) account. But the status is offline and I can’t seem to get it working. Incoming mail “host name” is “pop.gmail.com”.

15 Φεβ 2023 · Sounds like a mail server issue(?) who is the provider of your Mail— I would query their support for a known issue. You can verify your Mail>Settings>Accounts>Server Settings> Auto for each account. Mail User Guide for Mac - Apple Support
