29 Απρ 2018 · The Macanudo Inspirado Red is targeted for those who don’t know cigars very well and believe that because Macanudos are everywhere, it must be a great cigar. I’ve tried to review Macs in the past but was so let down that I thought my time could be better spent on something else.

The new Macanudo Inspirado Red cigar is made with a blend of rare aged Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos wrapped in Ecuadorian Habano ligero. These cigars are available in three sizes, including a box pressed Robusto (5 x 50) that was sampled for this review.
Tasting Note. Sharply pressed and draped in a dark wrapper, this cigar burns evenly. Its earthy, woody and citrus-like notes are offset by some bitterness and acidity. Details. Size: Robusto. 1 Αυγ 2018 · At roughly $7 a cigar, the Macanudo Inspirado Red is a stellar value. I like how the cigar presents a new take on the classic Macanudo profile while still retaining the best of the traditional Macanudo vibe. As a side note, this cigar pairs remarkably well with Sherry-finished single malts.
