You may request a change of major by submitting an online application through StudentAccess. (See exceptions below.) The standard criterion for eligibility to change your major requires that you are in good academic standing.
If you are eligible to change, submit a Change of Major Application online through by going to Student Access> Applications> Change of Major. (Note that to apply, all of the Change of Major Criteria must be completed and grades must be posted on your transcript.)
In your web browser, go to: https://www.reg.uci.edu/. Click on the WebReg link from the banner menu at the top of the page. Click on the Access WebReg link above the anteater image. This will direct you to the UCInetID Secure Web Login page. Enter your UCInetID and password.
Change of major requirements must be completed before applying. This means final grades must be posted to your transcript. Failure to complete the minimum requirements will result in an automatic denial of the major you are applying for.
