I personally would have it end when she gets the dead baby, she is overcome with joy, and bursts into the moths. It's still shitty I know, but its better than that pile of crap. And as I write this I realize that this movie is so bad that it does not deserve an ending. So disappointed with Del Toro. 0.
Took my 12 and 11 year old to go see "Mama" last night. Now before you go calling me a horrible parent for taking my kids to see a scary movie let me first list the movies I watched when I was even younger than they are: Nightmare On Elm Street 1 through 115 (I think they are making another one).

In the climactic final scenes of the film, Mama’s spirit is finally able to find peace after reuniting with Victoria and Lilly in the afterlife. The girls, who have formed a bond with Annabel, are able to say goodbye to Mama and move on from the trauma of their past.
