I'm wondering if it's countereit because the care tag has so many misspellings: "cleaning instructions", "fabnic", "luck warm water", "down clomps", etc.

Mammut is proper high quality outdoor gear, easily on par with Arc’Teryx. Go for it if the price is good. And whatever you do, stay away from Canada Douche - you’re paying about 30% for the actual jacket and 70% for the silly round patch. 8.
