The SLAM! also seems a natural as a mastering tool. The FET limiter works great on mixes, and the ELOP® now has a high pass filter switch that is spot-on for mastering. 16 Απρ 2005 · I just went to a session where they had a Manley Slam Mastering unit. WOW!!!!! I was completely blown away by it. They set the ratio on 2.1 on the ELOP with the 100hz switch in. This is the best optic compressor I ever heard on a mix. It made the mix very organic, and if I may say, more analog sounding.
