  1. Metropolitan Community College (MCC or MCCKC) is a public community college system in the U.S. state of Missouri. The system consists of four physical campuses in Kansas City, Independence, and Lee's Summit, as well as the MCC-Online campus. The campuses had a total enrollment of 13,376 for the fall semester of 2023. [1]

  5. Physical copies of elementary, middle & junior high schools, college & trade school yearbooks can be viewed by visiting the Missouri Valley Room on the 5th floor of the Central Library. A list of all available yearbook volumes can be viewed here.

  6. Kansas City, Missouri has nearly 240 neighborhoods [1] including Downtown, 18th and Vine, River Market, Crossroads, Country Club Plaza, Westport, the new Power and Light District, and several suburbs.

  7. At the final City Council meeting of 2023, Maple Heights District 6 Councilman Richard Trojanski was recognized for his 14 years of service on City Council. A trailblazing public servant, Trojanski has been a steadfast advocate for both LGBTQ+ and racial equality in Maple Heights.
