Margaret Salinger ( born 1955) is the daughter of J.D. Salinger, author of the book Catcher in the Rye. In 2000 she published Dream Catcher: A Memoir, ISBN 0-671-04282-3, a "tell-all" book about her father. She lives in Massachusetts with her son.
His obsession with his own privacy continued until his death in 2010, but Margaret’s memoir portrays a little-known side of Salinger’s early life and how he became the man we still don’t know very well.
