15 Δεκ 2008 · Got my eyes on a model 57 its not marked a 57m but clearly is stamped CAL. 22 MAGNUM. I've done lots of research on this site and rimfire central and the rest of the web and found the general info of them not being serialized in the production from 59-69 and 66,000 produced and that they seem to shoot pretty accurately.
For sale is a Marlin Model 57-M Levermatic lever action rifle in .22 magnum. Serial number- N/A. This 57-M is in good condition and features a 24" micro groove barrel with an excellent bore.

27 Δεκ 2017 · Levermatic: Model 57 is 22LR and Model 57M is 22 Magnum - otherwise look the same. Aluminum or steel receiver? Steel (later 57M) is concave, aluminum (early 57M) is convex.
The Marlin Levermatic was designed as a modern lever-action rimfire that was handy and accurate. This example has some evidence of previous rust, but would make an excellent truck gun. .22 MAG SOLD
