Subject to paragraphs (3) to (5), Part 3 (Foreign Ships) applies to a foreign ship carrying a harmful substance in packaged form whilst it is in the territorial waters of the Island.

2 Ιουν 2023 · Annex III applies to all ships to which MARPOL applies which carry harmful substances in packaged form. Harmful substances are those identified as marine pollutants in the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG Code).

MARPOL Annex III regulates chemicals carried in packaged form as marine pollutants identified in the IMDG Code. It sets out requirements for packing, marking, labeling, documentation, stowage, and quantity limitations to prevent pollution.
