31 Ιουλ 2015 · I've narrowed my choice down to Marty Bell. He appears to have a great reputation and receives stellar reviews. I'm after the highest quality job not the cheapest price.
15 Οκτ 2011 · Marty Bell does the best sparkle finishes in the industry IMO but his finish work in general is top shelf with good prices and a great turnaround time. I just posted these in another thread but they are both Marty Bell finishes.

15 Μαρ 2001 · I'm looking to get a body refinished in a custom solid color, nothing crazy, but I've never done it before. I've heard great things about Marty Bell and Pat Wilkins, and I'm wondering how your finishing projects have turned out and if there's anyone else out there I should look into.
Lay's and RS Guitarworks also seem to get pretty good reviews, but the lead times are a couple months still (RS Guitarworks also quoted me a price quite a bit higher than Lay's or Guitar mill). I tried contacting Rowyco Kustoms and Marty Bell as well, but they have both stopped doing nitro finishes.
Marty's finish work is astonishing. Everything went back together with no problems. This ash Fender Baja body is a heavyweight, so I don't like that about this guitar.
31 Μαΐ 2009 · There is an additional investment in finishing supplies including wet sanding paper, a buffer of some type and some compound. If all of this sounds like too much (which I fully understand) then stick to spray cans.
