The Depths was a mod started back in June of 2015 by Snickerbobble. Since then nothing has really happened regarding the original Depths, but many attempts to remake it for tModloader have failed. Hopefully this attempt won't fail and will be the new depths.

The Depth Meter is useful for finding biomes that are generated at specific elevation ranges, such as Floating Islands, the Underground Jungle, and the Underworld. It also helps with locating the first three tiers of Hardmode ores. The Depth Meter can be used to avoid spawning Dungeon Guardians by staying above 0 depth. Trivia
