The Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons licenses qualified individuals, businesses, and schools who meet the requirements to engage in the practice of real estate brokering and sales in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
To apply for a salesperson license, you must: Be at least 18 years old. Complete 40 hours of real estate education. Complete a Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Educational Certificate form from a Board approved Real Estate School. Get 3 candidate endorsements.

Licensing Requirements. M.G.L. c. 112, §§ 87PP - 87DDD1/2 and 254 CMR 2.00 – Two licenses. Code of Massachusetts Regulations 254 CMR 2.00 et. Seq. Pre-license education – M.G.L. c. 112 c. 87SS & 87TT. Salesperson – 40 classroom hours.
