The School of Mathematics provides mathematics instruction to students throughout the University in a broad range of academic programs, including physical and biological sciences, engineering, business, medicine, social sciences, and many other disciplines.
Complete two courses of foundational work for advanced coursework in Mathematics. Elective Mathematics coursework: 9–12 credits. Complete at least three courses in Mathematics at the 5xxx or 8xxx level in Mathematics, which can include additional core courses.
Tutoring & Academic Success Center. Peer tutors provide support for over 250 subject areas including math, biology, physics, chemistry, writing, and more. Peer tutoring aims to help students develop the academic study skills and confidence needed to succeed in their courses.
