During each fall and winter the Coliseum is also home to Columbus Ice Hockey Club (CIHC) and CCYHA youth hockey. It recently has been acquired by The Chiller and is used as a public rink for games and practices.
Nationwide Arena is a multi-purpose arena in the Arena District of Columbus, Ohio, United States. Since completion in 2000, the arena has served as the home of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Greater Columbus Sports Commission OhioHealth Chiller Dublin features two NHL-sized ice rinks, a concession stand, twelve locker rooms and a multipurpose room. Public activities include youth and adult hockey leagues, skating classes, public skating, birthday parties and private group events.
One place for fun. We’re the OhioHealth Chiller. And we’re the coolest place in town for ice sports and recreation. Owned and operated by the majority owner of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, JMAC, the OhioHealth Chiller is central Ohio’s family entertainment place.
Our Story. 1977 – A group of people initiated what is now known as McFarland Youth Hockey Association (MYHA). Lewis Park was their outdoor home ice for many years. With no zamboni, the rink had to be shoveled before every practice or game.
The OhioHealth Haus at Nationwide Arena is the practice home of the Columbus Blue Jackets. This one-of-its-kind facility is also home to several community hockey leagues around Columbus.
