9 Μαΐ 2021 · I've got a CarbonSix barrel on my 7 STW, which is a McGowen blank that is carbon wrapped. It shoots tiny groups. Put together a Remage 280AI with a Criterion barrel.
30 Μαΐ 2019 · For what it's worth, $400 barrel, $350 action, $350 bravo, $355 trigger, and I'm into a sub moa rifle for less than a lot of people spend on an action. I can afford to replace barrels sooner, or go to a Lila next time when I'm not buying all the other parts.
30 Σεπ 2022 · I've put 6 McGowen barrels on rifles and they have all been good shooters. Or at least as expected. Not all of these were precision firearms. They are one of the easiest companies to deal with when it comes to custom contours. I'll not wade into the debate on best barrel makers. McGowen makes a quality product on the whole, IMO. Jeremy
24 Σεπ 2020 · Has anyone ordered and shot a McGowen barrel lately? I have been thinking about a 338 RCM build lately and of all the places I have looked so far, McGowen is the only one with all the options I am looking for.
