0-60 showing the 3.31 gears vs 4.11, the efficiency is in the lack of having to shift. As more power is made this will become even more evident.
3 Οκτ 2024 · When we discuss 4.11 gears, we’re referring to the gear ratio where the pinion gear rotates 4.11 times for every single revolution of the ring gear. ️ A higher gear ratio like 4.11 means more rotational force (torque) to the wheels, but less speed, ideal for towing or hilly terrains.
22 Φεβ 2010 · 3.55 gears and 30" tires (my current setup) puts the jeep at 1975 RPM. 4.11 gears and 33" tires puts it at 2075 RPM. 4.56 gears put it at 2300. The 'consensus' is that 4.56 is the best gearing for combined on-road/offroad driving with 33s with an auto.
One of the most common questions about gear ratios is: what is the difference between 3.54 and 3.55 or 4.09, 4.10, and 4.11 gears? As our Gear Ratio Calculator explains, the gear ratio is calculated by dividing the number of teeth on the ring gear by the number of teeth on the pinion gear.
20 Απρ 2010 · Non-Rubicon Jeeps come with the factory with front and rear axle ratios that are .01 apart. Like 4.10/4.11, 3.54/3.55 and 3.73/3.74. My 4.88 gearing is actually 4.88/4.89. The reason is that the front and rear axles have different ring gear diameters and it is just easier to manufacturer them with that slight difference.
