The Director's Academy is an intensive program aimed at building long-term effectiveness, success, and impact for parks and recreation agency leaders in California. Unlike programs that focus on current trends or fads, this Academy equips attendees with essential tools and skills needed to be impactful leaders.

A successful mentor/mentee relationship may begin by chance, but it endures because of a strong foundation and a desire for self-improvement and the betterment of the profession.

Mentors will assist the mentee in creating an Action Plan to help meet their career objectives. Additionally, there is room for customization in a variety of subject areas, including personal growth and development as determined by the quality of the conversations between mentors and mentees.
