9 Αυγ 2023 · Having mentors as successful role models allow mentees to have a positive future orientation (Herrera et al., 2013). Youth mentoring can take place in (a) formal, community-based mentoring programs, (b) informal settings, and (c) youth-initiated mentoring (YIM).
Our faculty and staff take a head, heart, and hands approach to mentoring students that is strong in academics, spiritual and emotional development, and service to others. Curriculum is Christ-centered and Bible-based. Faculty integrates Judeo-Christian values into all course material and activities including extra-curricular sports and arts.
Current peer mentors and mentees, aspiring peer mentors and prospective mentees, and organizers/facilitators of peer mentoring programs can all find helpful tips to foster healthy and effective mentoring relationships to best support themselves and other youth.
