22 Φεβ 2023 · - Today, the Nevada Commission on Mentoring (NCOM) announced it is accepting applications for Spring 2023 Micro-grants. Micro-grants are available to non-profit organizations or programs in the State of Nevada which provide mentorship to students.
Mentor Bureau members will provide schedule of availability and potential 100 Black Men of Las Vegas programs and mentoring activities of interest. We will create a diverse pool of mentors that will be drawn from as needed. The program will initially provide virtual mentoring resources.
The Commission on Mentoring was established to support and facilitate mentorship programs in the state of Nevada and to work in consultation with the Nevada Department of Education to provide direction and guidance to the State coordinator for mentorship programs.
The SCORE Las Vegas mentor program provides free mentoring services to small business owners and entrepreneurs in the Las Vegas area. The program connects mentees with experienced mentors who can provide guidance and support in areas such as business planning, marketing, finance, and management.
100BMLV will establish a best in class mentoring program that address the educational, social, emotional and cultural needs of children 7 through 18. The program will focus on third through twelfth graders. The program will be delivered to boys and girls through collaboration with 100 Black Women.
The Navigators Program provides experiences and resources to navigate college, cultivate community and create social justice leaders. Students will receive one-on-one mentorship meetings, build on existing skills and passions, receive support and resources, and connect with a community of like-minded leaders.
