16 Αυγ 2014 · Bleeding and cramping at 5+5 and an empty sac on the scan. Another scan 10 days later showed a foetus and heartbeat. I had really high HCG levels too so the midwife was surprised nothing showed, but it can depend on the position of your uterus - mine is tilted backwards.

I had my first ultra sound this morning at 5 weeks 4 days — I’ve been worried about the same thing. They did a transvaginal ultrasound to see if they could see the fetal pole, but only saw the gestational sac and yolk sac (yours very well could be visible within the next few days).
17 Νοε 2016 · The ultra sound showed that the gestational sac grew from 5mm to 8mm and the computer was estimating that I was 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant however the sac was empty.

7 Οκτ 2024 · Empty Gestational Sac - 5 weeks 6 days. I had an early ultrasound today and all that was seen was an empty gestational sac. According to my LMP, I would be 6 weeks and 3 days, but I had IUI so I have a better idea of where I’m at which would be 5 weeks and 6 days.
