15 Δεκ 2023 · Metro says buses will run about every 20 minutes between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. on the 32, 33, 52, 70, 80, 92, A6, A8, B2, H4, S2, V2, W4, and X2 routes in D.C. The transit system says those 14 routes see some of the highest ridership, and serve all eight of the District’s wards between them.

11 Νοε 2024 · It’s official—a new bus system is coming to DC. The Better Bus initiative, originally announced by WMATA last spring, outlined a complete overhaul of current Metrobus routes promising to improve wait times and make the route names less confusing.
5 Δεκ 2023 · “Metro will significantly expand Metrobus service into the overnight and early morning hours across Washington, D.C. providing 24/7 bus service across 14 routes, ushering in a new era of affordable, convenient, and reliable transportation for customers,” WMATA said in a press release.
10 Σεπ 2024 · DDOT and WMATA have identified ways to leverage Metrobus’s extensive network to ensure a seamless experience for DC Circulator customers, enhance service to key destinations, and provide additional capacity on routes that may experience crowding due to the shift of Circulator passengers to Metrobus.
28 Μαΐ 2024 · Starting Sunday, June 16, routes in D.C., Maryland and Virginia will see route changes. Metro said that it aims to “improve on-time performance and expand service on routes with continued ridership growth to meet customer demand across the region” with these changes.
