Note: MFJ recommends that a transceiver-specific interface cable be used between the MFJ-998 and your transceiver, and that an amplifier enable/bypass connection be used between the MFJ-998 and your amplifier, to ensure that tuning only occurs at low power.

4 Μαΐ 2020 · I'm using the same cable I used for my FTDX 3000 on my FTDX 101D, the MFJ-5114Y. Likewise, I have the 998 set for Yaesu FC-30 under the radio/rig setting on the 998. The 1000mp uses the MFJ-5114Y3 cable and calls for the rig/radio to be set for Yaesu MP/2K/9K (on the 998).
