The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
8 Μαρ 2010 · The Greddy kit is a good begginers turbo, but if you plan on high (200+) HP then there are probrably better options. In my particular situation, I have a fast car, as 92Black&Tan stated - 375 RWHP is a lot for a 4.6L modular motor, but can easily be had with about 9PSI from a Kenne Bell twin screw S/C..
12 Αυγ 2007 · I decided on the Greddy turbo kit as I can't see me going past about 200bhp (time will tell ), it's an all-in-one package which uses a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo so you can, if you want, put it on straight out the box and drive off, and it is available in the UK for a reasonable amount of money.

Comes with a turbo exhaust manifold, turbo, downpipe, intake pipes, air filer assembly, and misc. hoses and fitings for oil and vacuum signal. Took a while to get (4 weeks...was on back order to Japan) but still quicker than a BEGI kit (I have heard 10 weeks).

14 Φεβ 2014 · siamiam1. • 11 yr. ago. i have a 1991 automatic miata with a greddy turbo kit with a intercooler on it, i am running 9psi and have been for about 3ish years now, i have no engine management system on it , just a fuel pressure regulator, it has close to 180k miles on it now.
