The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
12 Αυγ 2007 · I decided on the Greddy turbo kit as I can't see me going past about 200bhp (time will tell ), it's an all-in-one package which uses a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo so you can, if you want, put it on straight out the box and drive off, and it is available in the UK for a reasonable amount of money.
8 Μαρ 2010 · It came with a Greddy turbo kit installed. I think all that remains of the original turbo kit by this point might be the turbo / waste gate actuator and maybe the downpipe. I am still in the learning curve, but I am glad to share anything I have learned thus far.

siamiam1. • 11 yr. ago. i have a 1991 automatic miata with a greddy turbo kit with a intercooler on it, i am running 9psi and have been for about 3ish years now, i have no engine management system on it , just a fuel pressure regulator, it has close to 180k miles on it now.

7 Νοε 2022 · It's not "garbage" but it's honestly pretty close. The only reason someone would use that kit now is the carb sticker. There's likely someone who would buy the whole kit. Go ahead and do as others have suggested and buy a intercooler and then a computer and injectors.
