However, they're still supported by an older version of Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center 2.3 on Windows 7, or the earlier version IntelliPoint 8.2 and IntelliType Pro 8.2 software on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP.
This issue might occur if the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center files got corrupted. I suggest you to place the computer in clean boot, uninstall the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center application and download and install the latest Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center application form the website and check if it helps. Follow the below steps:

I went to Device Manager and uninstalled all instances of the Microsoft Mouse under Mice & other pointing devices, under Keyboards & under Human Interface devices. I then started the setup up program for Mouse & Keyboard Center v2.8.106 (ran as Administrator).

Reminder: This is a Microsoft Mouse, connected to a Microsoft Surface Book, that is running Microsoft Windows 10, on which I had installed the latest version of the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.

11 Ιαν 2019 · The Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Centre only supports Microsoft keyboards and mice, so it won't work with your Logitech mouse. If you need to customize the functions of your Logitech mouse, you can download the Logitech software package for it.

7 Μαρ 2020 · It's clear from the documentation. I have MS keyboard that's recognized. The non-MS mouse is not so I can't configure its 7 buttons. If not, any recommendation for what software I should use (and not to create any conflict with MS Mouse and Keyboard Center)? Thanks
