20 Μαΐ 2022 · Getting Mint Mobile on an iPad is exactly the same as getting it on a phone. The device must be turned off before the SIM is placed inside the tray and before you enter the activation code, given you're working with a new SIM and not swapping the SIM out of an old device.
21 Νοε 2023 · Mint is deprioritized on T-Mobile so same speed as T-Mobile Essentials, usually between 25%-90% of other T-Mobile plans. Slowdown get exacerbated when network in your location is congested, but in most places and times slower speed is not noticeable. Pay-per-use international calls in over 160 countries and roaming in over 210 countries.

25 Ιουν 2023 · As long as the business line cellular is switched off, the personal line works fine, but if I turn the business line back on (the Mint Mobile eSIM), the phone goes into SOS mode and neither line works. I called Mint Mobile about this, and their response was that it was because the phone is locked to T-Mobile and won’t support their eSIM.
Mint just seems throttled or bottleneck more often. Not sure if that’s a Mint issue, or,just a T-mobile MVNO issue. The antenna switching seems to be problematic. Mint’s been OK, but only because the price is so much lower than what I had been paying, and I have another phone that is more reliable.

15 Νοε 2022 · If you are on Android and use a messaging app with RCS enabled then RCS should work on Mint. If you message anyone with an iPhone or an Android user who is not using RCS supported messaging app (such as WhatsApp which removed RCS support) then it gets downgraded to MMS or SMS.
