The most 'counterculture' dorms are East Campus, Random, and Burton Connor (before renovation; it will probably remain there, but time will tell). There's then a pretty large gap between them and Simmons/Next, which are probably the most 'alt' of the West Campus dorms (excluding BC of course).
Despite their peculiarities, some halls have been rated the best by students at the University of Arkansas. These dorms include: Founders Hall. Founders Hall is a co-ed building; it houses both males and females. The hall was opened in 2013 and is available to returning and new students.

I’ve been looking at the housing and I wanted to get recommendations or insight on where are good places to house / places to avoid. The Maples are pretty good, Yocum is decent, if you’re a girl Reid Hall is good too. If you’re in honors, Hotz is the best for honors. Yocum is a 15 second walk to Walton (literally).
