Use this tool to help calculate a student's grade point average or GPA and see its impact on their cumulative GPA.
A grade point average can be calculated for a semester, for specific courses (e.g., all science courses) or for all work completed. At MU, the grades for credits earned at other institutions do show on your MU transcript, but they do not average into your official MU cumulative GPA.
Calculate GPA: After entering all the necessary information, press the "Calculate" button. This will display the total credits, total grade points, and the calculated GPA value.
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 to remain in good academic standing. All regulations currently applicable on a course-by-course basis and currently tied to a specific letter grade would be interpreted to mean a specific letter grade range.
This GPA Calculator allows you to easily compute your Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Follow the instructions below to use the calculator: For each course, enter the number of credits and the corresponding grade received.
