Current condition products below are generated using both NRCS and non-NRCS station data. NRCS SNOTEL data is collected and transmitted hourly, but only daily (00:00, midnight values) are reviewed and edited. Editing occurs daily on most business days during the winter and weekly during the summer.

SNOTEL (SNOw TELemetry): An automated near real-time data collection network that provides mid to high elevation hydroclimatic data from mountainous regions of the western United States. A standard SNOTEL station provides snow water equivalent, snow depth, precipitation, and temperature data.
