Athletics. Moraine Valley athletics has 12 teams that compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference. If you love playing sports, consider trying out, or if you love watching sports, come out and cheer on the Cyclones at an upcoming game.
General McArthur III became the third Athletics director at Moraine Valley in July 2023. Prior to this role, he was the athletic student success specialist starting in 2015 after working as Moraine Valley’s student success and veterans’ coordinator.
In their final regular season match, the Cyclones maintained perfection with their eighth consecutive victory, this time coming over Illinois Valley Community College. The Cyclones are undefeated this season going into the Region 4 tournament.
10 Αυγ 2023 · General McArthur III became the new Athletics director (AD) at Moraine Valley Community College on July 1. McArthur has been adjusting to the new role, vacated by Bill Finn when he retired June 30 after 43 years at the college.
21 Ιουλ 2022 · The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) recognized 22 Moraine Valley Community College student-athletes with the 2021-22 All-Academic Team Award while one team earned Academic Team of the Year.
