I work side by side with 68D's and I'd suggest just waiting for 68c if your goal is nursing. 68d is as people said, giving instruments to the doc and counting shit, setting up cases, processing dirty instruments, and so on.

You'll ensure that operating rooms and surgical tools are properly sterilized and inspected before and after procedures.
