The price has come way down on these and the net is filled with adds and auctions listing these for under $200 with new batteries, drop in charger and speaker/mic. I own three of these and can program them myself and I find them much more "robust" than HT's built for the Ham service. Great audio, cool features, and lots of third party support.
19 Ιουν 2007 · The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola). This is a large and very visible forum.
