2 Σεπ 2020 · Overall, the Motu M4 makes for a good option even for people who just want a DAC. It gives you the additional input functionalities to say, produce a podcast or youtube video. Or test audio gear (to its limit of course).
19 Απρ 2024 · The Motu M4 (and M2) are interfaces that outclass most of the competition. With midi inputs, extra RCA outputs (handy for DJs), loopback functions (handy for podcasters), direct monitoring, and blazing technical performance (handy for anyone), these interfaces are tough to beat.
I got the M4 on Boxing Day. Solid drivers, didnt fail once so far (Win 10 on both desktop and laptop). I had Scarlett 3rd gen, Steinberg UR22C and Audient iD14 and like this interface way better. The conversion is top notch, and I agree that this is the new king of budget interfaces.

This is a stunningly useful feature for podcasters and live streamers and saves all that fussing around with virtual audio cables. Conclusion. MOTU haven't just dropped a pair of decent audio interfaces into this entry-level market, they've raised the bar by quite some distance.
