Mountain Oak Campground has 17 single-family campsites in a nice forest of large pine trees. The campground is open mid-May to mid-November. It is also close to Jackson Lake and many hiking trails in the San Gabriel Mountains. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.
Mountain Oak Campground, adjacent to the Big Pines Highway and nearby Jackson Lake Day Use Area, is the second-largest campground in the Wrightwood Area and the most accommodating of the campsites between Jackson Lake and Big Pines.
