Online Traffic Crash Reports A search tool to identify crashes investigated by the MSHP in the past 29 days. Searches can be conducted by geographic area, name, date, and injury level. Search results provide details of each crash fitting the set parameters and include person (s) name, crash location, and circumstances.
Individuals can complete their own crash report online when the crash meets specific criteria. The crash must be a single vehicle, property-damage-only crash where there were no injuries to anyone involved, and it occurred on either an Interstate or a U.S. or Illinois Route.
