The purpose of this document is to provide our Rules, Regulations and By-Laws for. Muay Thai and Kickboxing events, which are combative sports in which two competitors attempt to achieve dominance over one another by utilizing permitted techniques in traditional Muay Thai and Kickboxing.
The TDLR Texas Combative Sports Program regulates professional Boxing, Kick Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai and amateur MMA, Muay Thai and Kick Boxing events in Texas.

4.1: MANDATORY PROBATION PERIOD An Athlete shall receive a mandatory period of rest in the event of a knock-out or RSC caused by strikes to the head. Each knock-out suffered as a result of head hits and each RSCH must be recorded in the Athlete’s medical record.
Any other form of these rules may not be called the “Unified Rules of Professional Muay Thai” and shall be referred to by the name of the commission sanctioning the/an event. Each round shall consist of a three (3) minute duration, with a one (1) minute rest period between rounds.
