Agree totally. A few years ago Pinchme was one of the best sample sites online. New samples were consistently dropped and it was easy to get them without jumping through a dozen hoops. Now it's so spammy, there are less samples and they're constantly trying to get you to sign up for scammy offers. The quality has really plummeted.
It's a phishing attempt. They want to get you worried enough to click that link, which will run a malicious script. They just have your email, they don't know anything about you. Report it as spam/phishing and move on. Don't click any links.
If its a google email of a google docs share, the email address of the sender will be on the body of the email that came from google. The email address of the sender is a key giveaway of the scam. A bank would only write you from an email address @ the official bank website address.
