MyU is the University's enterprise portal. The purpose of MyU is to help people be successful getting their business done at the U. Provides timely, relevant, and accurate information based on your role at the University. Provides access to services such as class registration, grades, pay statements, benefits enrollment, and more.
An enrollment verification may be used to defer your student loans, get insurance discounts, certify student group academic eligibility, and for things like scholarships or visas. You can get an enrollment verification from MyU and print as needed.
Duo protects you by verifying your identity in multiple ways: using something you know (your password) and something you have (such as your phone or device). Duo provides many different options to verify your identity. If you have questions or concerns about using Duo, contact your Disability Resource Center.

Depending on your affiliation with the University you might be automatically enrolled into Duo Security (two-factor authentication). If this is the case the next step is to enroll your device. Open the Duo Mobile app, locate University of Minnesota in the accounts list, and select it to generate a six-digit passcode. Sign in to the application you're accessing using your UMN internet ID and password. Enter the passcode in the space provided, and Verify to complete your authentication to the application.
You can create your guest account either on the learning.umn.edu Login portal (select Create Account under "I'm new to the University") or by following the steps on this page under Creating a Guest Account.
If you have a smartphone tied to an international (non-US) phone number, you can still activate your device as a Tablet in order to receive Duo push notifications and generate Duo passcodes.
