To setup an Office365 Account, please ensure you click “Manually Configure”. The following information will assist you in your setup: For Windows users Incoming server: outlook.office365.com – SSL/TLS – Port 993 - OAuth2 Outgoing Server: smtp.office365.com – STARTTLS – Port 587 - OAuth2
Resetting a Forgotten Password. If you have answered your challenge response questions, you are already using the Western Identity Manager system, and can use those questions to reset your password. If you are any member of the Western Community (i.e. Applicants, Students, Faculty, Staff, Associate Person), you will need your User ID.
On the Auto Account Setup page, ensure E-mail Account is selected. Beside Your Name, type your preferred name (first and last). Beside E-mail Address, use your UWO email (i.e. WesternID@uwo.ca). Beside Password, enter your UWO password (please note: this is the password you use to sign into myhr.uwo.ca, finance.uwo.ca, etc.).
Change your password with your email provider. See the following sections for instructions on changing your email account password for several major email providers. If your email account provider isn't listed, contact your admin or the email provider's help desk.
If you have a new password, if your email provider has asked you to change settings, or if you're having problems with sending and receiving email, you can change your email account settings through Mail in the Windows Control Panel, or from Outlook.
