You can easily remove or delete apps from your iPad. If you change your mind, you can download the apps again later. Download the app, open a youtube video in the youtube app and hit share > more > select ”Block ads on YouTube (by AdGuard)”. It’ll open the video in fullscreen in desktop mode so accessing quality options, closed captions etc is not as intuitive as the buttons are extremely small, but hey that’s a pretty small sacrifice for having no ads.
