Prophet Lut, known in the Bible as Prophet Lot, was raised by his uncle, Prophet Ibrahim, may peace be upon him. Prophet Lut (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) loved, respected, and believed in Ibrahim’s (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) message even when everyone ridiculed him.
Lut (Arabic: لوط, romanized: Lūṭ, ), also known as Lot in the Old Testament, is a prophet and messenger of God in the Qur'an. [1] [2] According to Islamic tradition, Lut was born to Haran and spent his younger years in Ur, later migrating to Canaan with his uncle Abraham. [3]

And Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit lewdness no people anywhere have ever committed before you?” Surah 7 - Al-A'raf : 81.
18 Δεκ 2023 · Lessons Learnt from the Story of Prophet Lut عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ. The story of Prophet Lut عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ is characterized by a determined, consistent, and tireless effort to preach to the people to come to the right path of monotheism.
Prophet Lut. [7:80] And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people: What! Do you commit an indecency which anyone in the world has not done before you? [7:81] Most surely you come to males in lust besides females; nay you are an extravagant people.
Lut (AS) was tasked with calling the people of Sodom back to the worship of Allah and warning them of the punishment that awaited them if they did not repent. He preached to them day and night, urging them to abandon their evil ways and follow the path of righteousness.
