Prophet Lut, known in the Bible as Prophet Lot, was raised by his uncle, Prophet Ibrahim, may peace be upon him. Prophet Lut (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) loved, respected, and believed in Ibrahim’s (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) message even when everyone ridiculed him.
Lut (Arabic: لوط, romanized: Lūṭ, ), also known as Lot in the Old Testament, is a prophet and messenger of God in the Qur'an. [1] [2] According to Islamic tradition, Lut was born to Haran and spent his younger years in Ur, later migrating to Canaan with his uncle Abraham. [3]

Al-Qur'an 29:29. Overwhelmed with despair, Lot prayed to Allah to grant him victory and destroy the corrupt. Therefore, the angels left Abraham peace be upon him and headed for Sodom the town of Lut peace be upon him. They reached the walls of the town in the afternoon.
As we saw in the story of Prophet Lut (alaihis-salaam), the angels saved Prophet Lut and his followers from the destruction of their city. Why do the angels protect the believers? And why do they stay with them everywhere?
