Stages 2 and 3 • A curriculum for all learners: Guidance to support teachers of learners with additional learning needs • specific guidance for all national curriculum subjects, personal and social education, careers and the world of work, and religious education.
Students learn money, ratios, decimals, graphing, and other concepts from the 6th grade curriculum. 6th Grade Math - Understand concepts of ratio and rate, division of fractions, rational numbers, interpreting and using expressions and equations, statistical thinking.
Learners are able to: read and write numbers to 100 000. compare numbers with 1 and 2 decimal places. use mental strategies to recall multiplication tables for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 and use to solve division problems. multiply and divide numbers and decimals by 10 and 100.
