San Francisco Women Artists The community we serve – Bay Area women artists – is a diverse blend of talents and backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities. SFWA maintains a gallery featuring 600 artworks annually that exhibits and sells contemporary art, hand-crafted jewelry, sculpture, and ceramics.

San Francisco Women Artists (SFWA), founded in 1887, is an historic nonprofit arts organization that continues to support, promote, and exhibit and sell the works of talented Bay Area women artists. Our Inner sunset gallery hosts monthly, juried shows, showcasing paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and jewelry created by member artists.
TINT is a San Francisco based art gallery that showcases contemporary artists, highlighting women artists in particular, who innovate across media.
