International Motors, LLC (formerly Navistar International Corporation) is an American holding company created in 1986. The successor to the International Harvester manufacturing company, International produces trucks and diesel engines under its own brand; [3] the company produces buses under the IC Bus name.
International trucks have been built and sold by the International Harvester Company (renamed Navistar International in 1986) from 1909 until the present (2024). Originally marketed to farmers the trucks were immediately successful and were sold to businesses in cities as well.
The International LoneStar (also stylized as International Lonestar) is a model line of conventional-cab trucks that was produced by Navistar International from the 2009 to the 2024 model years.
LISLE, Ill., Sept. 25, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Navistar, Inc. today announced its plan to rebrand and change its name to International Motors, LLC* ("International"), effective October 1. Along with the name change, the company also debuted a refreshed logo and distinct visual identity.
